Better Than

It's easy to measure ourselves against someone who "looks better," makes more money, dances fluently etc. but in the long run, it's our measure or ourselves that count.

In 1862 "TAPS" was first played. Starting with no words or lyrics it was meant to signal the end of the day or end of life. Some time later, the Boy Scouts added words that have meaning to me today and is something I say

"Have I done my daily task..."?

Have I been the person I wanted to be? Have I been faithful to my creed?

Wise questions to ask ourselves so we can be true to others: not a yardstick what others think or do

Lets be the better person each day.
